Roman gods?

[Now THAT is a topic he isn't forgetting any time soon.] Absolutely. You could say deities were one of my main studies of choice.

I need to know if there's any sort of association between the Roman gods and certain chemical elements.
Specifically copper, lead, tin and gold.

He doesn't know exactly which ones, much to his irritation, but...] The Roman gods were used to name various planets in the solar system. These planets in turn have associations with various key features of alchemy.

As such, you should find that certain planets are associated with certain elements. That would be the first association I would think of.

Not all of them are associated with planets. Gold and Silver are associated with the Sun and Moon, respectively.

As you can imagine from there, Mercury is associated with Mercury.
