how'd you upgrade these things before anyway
like how come the guy who can build robots hasn't like
networked the place already
or is this a 'gotta sell your soul to the fourth god or no tech for you' kinda deal

The fourth god is inherently connected to the existing network. Actually recreating an internet network of our own unfortunately requires the sort of resources that, frankly, the peninsula lacks- for that matter I can't be certain he wouldn't sabotage it.

Being as diametrically opposed to the fourth as I am, I'm very much facing an uphill battle. The prior upgrades were the result of repeated trial and error experiments with both the digital code and the physical hardware, which more often than not resulted in near-fatal injuries and my own trip to whoever could heal me quickest.

You can hopefully understand why I get touchy when someone asks when the next upgrade will be.
