Are you still at Hestia's place, or have you found somewhere else to stay now?
<Player1>
< GREATFLOOD >
Right then, I'll deliver the coffin there, personally. I'll message once it's ready.
<Player1>
[Not before. Hmmmm maybe he should clean up a little? It's not untidy in here, but it is a little dusty...
< GREATFLOOD > dw plz i need the notifs
Coffin acquired. Will be en-route within an hour if willing.
Assuming he is, Noa does indeed appear within the hour- which is an interesting sight indeed. Quite a lot smaller than the coffin, he's nonetheless flying it over, and from below it rather looks like the coffin has grown wings and a matching tail.
Don't worry about it.]
<Player1> -> action
[Filming crews notice, pointing and redirecting cameramen's attention, getting shots of it as it approaches. It's that commotion that gets the other Yugi's attention, and he'll head down to the front door to meet his friend.
To the film crew:]
Okay. You can come in! But only into the common areas and my room. No harassing anyone else. If I catch you bothering any of the other residents, you'll regret it!
no subject
[Landing is, unfortunately, a bit awkward. But whether it's the other Yugi or someone in the crew itself who helps to catch the coffin before he alights, it all works out. Noa is soon carrying it behind him, with his apparently very 'handy' wings in fact, revealing yet more talents that he's apparently been hoarding like the great level 99-er he is.]
Ahhh. Now then, let's get to it shall we? I'm assuming we're bringing this to your room here. I brought some things in the coffin to help getting to sleep, on that note.
no subject
The other Yugi nods at the first bit! He doesn't feel like napping in public, and there's not much in his room that he minds being seen. Triffany combed through it all just a day or so ago! But he's surprised by the second part.]
Really...?
[He was definitely planning to just fake it. Especially with a film crew around.]
Heh. I should've expected that you'd plan ahead!
no subject
[He smiles, perhaps a little....too sharply.] I've been looking forward to another nap. You wouldn't deny me that I hope.
[ah, cats...]
I even brought something...extra if one of us wakes up before the other, [He mutters, and given the way he's not looking directly at the other Yugi, it's a pretty solid guess as to what it is.
(That's right- A SHINY RED WII U CONSOLE!)] But for now, let's get to this.
no subject
He's actually kind of curious about what Noa's brought! Interest flickers over his face, and he guesses, from the familiar embarrassment, that it's a certain childish gaming console...
Looks like he's got permission to try it, if Noa outsleeps him. How fun.
The other Yugi shifts the coffin over his shoulder so that he can push open the door to his room -- a mostly undecorated affair, except for the blackout curtains. There's a little table by the window, and a belt sander's sitting on the countertop for some reason, but the living room's otherwise empty.]
Might as well set it down here. There's more room for all that--
[He gestures to the camera crew that's followed them in.]
--than there is in the bedroom.
no subject
...I don't suppose our lovely camera crew will be doubling as guards~? [He adds with a purr, leaving the other Yugi to inspect the contents of the coffin. Aside from cool blankets and some pillows, there's also a...
Is that a reel to reel player-
(It is. He brought calming music, like a nerd)]
no subject
Of course a cat would be serious about naps, though.
One of the cameramen speaks up--]
"We want to get a good shot, so we'll keep an eye on the door."
[The other Yugi adds:]
The neighbors are pretty quiet anyway.
[This coffin really is basically a bed in a box. The first thing the other Yugi does, though, is take the lid off to the side and prop it up against a wall, on the other side of the room, a good distance from them. Nobody better get any ideas about shutting them in.]
no subject
[Good good. Well, the music can be carefully set up in the meantime then, and after circling a bit Noa is quickly taking small, fluffy cuddly housecat form.] Then it seems we can get to it! [he cheers, already hopping in near the foot of it.
He is immediately making biscuits on the blanket. He needs to be comfortable.]
no subject
The other Yugi climbs into the coffin, too, careful not to get his feet too close to Noa. No kicking this time. Luckily, given his stature, the box is pretty roomy. And the blankets are nice. He'll settle in so he's lying on his back.]
You know, you're pretty cute like that!
[Okay, he can keep most of the inane things from coming out of his mouth, but it sure is interacting with that confidence boost.]
no subject
He's still making it. Normally he'd stiffen up and even hiss a bit at 'you're pretty cute', but if anything he purrs louder.
This is your cat on 'Vanity', baby.] Hmhmhmmm...all I'm doing is making this spot of blanket more cozy for me, but I'll take the compliment~ Did I bring enough of those by the way? I'm weak to the cold, so it's hard to gauge, particularly with the undead or cold-friendly.
no subject
Plenty!
I still don't plan to use it regularly, but...being in here's not uncomfortable.
[Music's nice. Blankets are soft. There's a little bit of body heat radiating from the foot of the coffin. It won't be hard to pretend to sleep here...
His tone of voice gives away that he's relaxing.]
It's true...I'm room temperature at best these days. Cold weather isn't a problem, and living monsters are almost hot to the touch, for me.
I wonder what summer will be like...
no subject
I've yet to meet a vampire who rots, so you should be fine- perhaps a little luke-warm, but given the avoidance of the sun I don't expect you would heat up too much...
no subject
It'd be a very big pet bed. I suppose, if I end up with a very large dog, or a small horse...
[someone doesn't understand how much space cats demand.]
no subject
Stick to a smaller animal; they'll want the space.
[Ah, speaking from experience is he!?]
no subject
[calling you out.]
no subject
no subject
Ah, that's a shame! It'd be something else to keep a cheetah.
Someone on the network has a lion, you know!
[He's gonna discuss this instead of thinking about petting catte.]

[He's getting a little sleepy, and assuming they're still talking about Ryslig.]
People here...?
no subject
[Oh- pulling out of his doze briefly, he shakes his head.] Oh, no- a number of people in antiquity, from our own world.
[The cat stretches, and yawns.] Egypt would have been among those in fact...
