Yes! Hello!

[Behold. A pig with hideous, stubbled flesh lips. The skin doesn't look too irritated, meaning at least it's not the result of a flea flareup.]
cratecrasher: (doubtful)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-11-16 03:14 pm (UTC)(link)
[Rude. Crash pinned his ears back like a kicked puppy and muttered in a way that might have been unintelligible for human hearing, but it's a little easier for any monster's hearing to pick up.]

Growin' back jus'not done...

[The minotaur ducked his head lower from his position self-consciously.]
cratecrasher: (caffeine)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-11-18 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
[Crash nodded, despite his partial baldness. His ears are still flat against his head, however. Chances are he's not enthused over dwelling on the topic.]
cratecrasher: (sleeve of tricks)

[To that, the pig's ears flicked back upward attentively, though the intrigue on his face says it all about the cat offering to share the perch. Crash peered about, checking if even the admittedly large hidey-hole was truly enough for two entire monsters.

But if Noa clearly thinks so, then Crash doesn't hesitate too long on fitting himself inside. And once he's fairly comfortable...]

... Don't need to talk?
cratecrasher: (feeling)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-11-30 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[Crash wasn't exactly feeling too sociable regardless near the end of that mess. The pig mulled over what could say in words, but also over how to use them.

In the end, the minotaur remained mostly silent as he reached over to scoop up Noa's front half, almost as if his friend was simply an oversized ragdoll cat. And then he pulled the manticore close for a hug. As far as the former bandicoot was concerned, anything that needed to be said, every little emotion he wanted to express, would be conveyed loud and clear between that and the nuzzling aimed into the top of that cabbage head.]

[And Crash will happily soak in all the healing vibes of a purring cat. Much better than a sometimes unnerving computer cat. Plenty of soft fur to pet.]
cratecrasher: (later snooze)

mild time skip

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-12-03 04:28 pm (UTC)(link)
[The pig wouldn't consider this his usual time for a snooze, but once they're both comfortable, Crash can make an exception and follow Noa's lead. And by the time either of them wakes up... well...

All of the bristles have finally returned on Crash's snout.]
cratecrasher: (wind me up)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-12-06 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
[Welp, he heard that. Crash hadn't fully re-adjusted to his sharper minotaur hearing just yet, so he stirred at the noise just enough to blearily tilt his head up from its soft resting place to peek unseeingly at where Noa went.

The pig idly scratched through the restored bristles on his face, but otherwise looked ready to fall back asleep any second.]
cratecrasher: (looking)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-12-07 04:50 pm (UTC)(link)
[Still thoroughly drunk with sleep, Crash at least blinked a few times to get a clearer within the hidey cave before feel around for Noa with the intent to scoop him back up, holding about the same bewildered annoyance as a cat owner might have during mornings.]

Why are you crying, kitty?
cratecrasher: (naaah)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-12-10 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
[He is still not awake enough to precisely pinpoint where Noa's voice came from, but Crash hopes the cat isn't dangling off an edge within wherever the tangle of blankets is. But for as long as the manticore is vocally complaining about the aforementioned predicament, the pig carefully locates the cat burrito eventually.

And after unwrapping the purrito, into his arms Noa goes for a much more impromptu moment of 'smothering' from the former bandicoot as if he really was handling a normal housecat instead of a travel-sized monster.]

Silly cat friend.

[Pat pat on the head. And then Crash allows Noa down from his embrace with a chuckle.]

cratecrasher: (affronted)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-12-14 01:49 pm (UTC)(link)
[Crash tilted his head at first, clearly attempting to parse what Noa was talking about. But luckily, something in his brain comprehended enough that he instinctively brushed his fingers through the rough yet filled-out fur on his face.]

Hm? ... Hm.

[The pig is mildly surprised yet also clearly satisfied by this development.]
cratecrasher: (this is fine)

[personal profile] cratecrasher 2022-12-15 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[To that, Crash shook his head. Back to full minotaur status! And then the pig peered toward the entrance to the sleep cave, gears spinning in his head of consideration, before moving to climb out.

Because he thinks he's had enough sleep. Crash will poke his head back up to see in curiosity if Noa felt the same or not.]

[Aha. There's the magic word. Food.]

I brought a drink too.
