[Crash has a lot fewer animals than Noa does and Baby T isn't exactly a fur pillow, but he'll... manage the loneliness at least.

As he promised, the now-minotaur has his party time and needs some of the morning time to rehydrate himself, briefly argue with Atem over the network, and shake off the effects of guzzling so much wumpashine. Doesn't stop him from picking up a leftover jug with the intent to gift it to the cat.

There still isn't much pep in his step as Crash simply picked the lift entrance for Noa's apartment this time rather than any fancy parkour onto the roof. He idly rasped his nails across the slow-growing stubble of bristles on his snout, still looking like a call-back to his younger years.

Annoying.

But his full coat should be filled out by the end of the night, hopefully. And his subdued mood certainly won't spill over onto a certain pack of fuzzy companion creatures by the time they notice the arrival of a visitor.]

[Well Noa sure isn't going near the door right now, but the handy helpful newf is, and so is Egle the root tree!

[Nope, definitely can't be sad or mad at the welcome crew. Crash carefully pets Newf with one hand and briefly rests the other on Egle as he's coming in.]

[He can only wonder where that cat is while in the middle of polite guest rituals. Piled with the rest of the horde?]

[No answer, but the bedroom IS upstairs after all. So instead, the two guides will...well, guide! Over here, the stairs- whatever can be called stairs anyway- are this way.

[Crash sets down the jug of alcohol in the kitchen before he proceeds upstairs. Just because they're both animal-shaped doesn't mean anyone needs to dribble it straight from the container.

He'll manage the way upstairs on his clunky feet. He's done crazier things on paws.]

....Crash? ...Is that you, that doesn't sound quite like paws...

[Behold. A pig with hideous, stubbled flesh lips. The skin doesn't look too irritated, meaning at least it's not the result of a flea flareup.]

I can't tell if I should be surprised you made it up here, [He mutters, crawling out of the blanket pile to stretch.

And then stare.]

[Rude. Crash pinned his ears back like a kicked puppy and muttered in a way that might have been unintelligible for human hearing, but it's a little easier for any monster's hearing to pick up.]

Growin' back jus'not done...

[The minotaur ducked his head lower from his position self-consciously.]

I didn't exactly expect the process to involve shedding- did that seriously happen over your entire body?

[Crash nodded, despite his partial baldness. His ears are still flat against his head, however. Chances are he's not enthused over dwelling on the topic.]

[.......He's noticing that. Well, with a sigh, he pulls back in what used to be a blanket filled snake hide, turned blanket filled kitty cave.] Well, you may as well come in here now- I'm a little surprised you came over if things are still coming through.

[To that, the pig's ears flicked back upward attentively, though the intrigue on his face says it all about the cat offering to share the perch. Crash peered about, checking if even the admittedly large hidey-hole was truly enough for two entire monsters.

But if Noa clearly thinks so, then Crash doesn't hesitate too long on fitting himself inside. And once he's fairly comfortable...]

... Don't need to talk?

Hmmmm. Sometimes just enjoying actual company is plenty, [the cat replies quietly enough.]

...I know I wasn't much for it last month- and I suspect that didn't sit well with you.

[Crash wasn't exactly feeling too sociable regardless near the end of that mess. The pig mulled over what could say in words, but also over how to use them.

In the end, the minotaur remained mostly silent as he reached over to scoop up Noa's front half, almost as if his friend was simply an oversized ragdoll cat. And then he pulled the manticore close for a hug. As far as the former bandicoot was concerned, anything that needed to be said, every little emotion he wanted to express, would be conveyed loud and clear between that and the nuzzling aimed into the top of that cabbage head.]

[Is he purring? Yes, yes he is. Purr time. And purr time will be for a good long moment before he says-] ...Glad you understand.

[It helps that he's just a cat for now. Sometimes- half the time with Noa really- you just want to be a kitty cat.]

[And Crash will happily soak in all the healing vibes of a purring cat. Much better than a sometimes unnerving computer cat. Plenty of soft fur to pet.]

[Exactly. Exactly! He can just stretch out, sink his teeny needle claws into blanket, and enjoy a good nap. See? The visit was worth it. More relaxing.]

[The pig wouldn't consider this his usual time for a snooze, but once they're both comfortable, Crash can make an exception and follow Noa's lead. And by the time either of them wakes up... well...

All of the bristles have finally returned on Crash's snout.]
