all i know about that guy is he was involved with the cure gone wrong. and that says enough. what about his current position

[ There is a bit of a delay before the next response, as Rin considers what Noa has just offered. To stand between Rin and his cohorts if necessary? He knows how deep Noa's allegiance to the Fog is, even if he's never been as adamant about it as Marco and the Fourth. Would Noa really turn on his own for him? It's never been something Rin's considered. It feels almost wrong to expect that of Noa. Maybe he just doesn't want to put their friendship to that level of testing since he doesn't know if he'd like the answer. ]

Mmm. Yes the cure which was sabotaged by outside sources.

He himself was a victim of that, you should know. It was quite unpleasant for him. As it is, in a manner of speaking he's co-director with less...'perks'. He manages the Northern Branch, while I manage the Bavan Branch...keeping an eye on what's happening up north to make certain nothing starts slipping through any cracks, for that matter.

I'll be able to do that, certainly. That, I can guarantee in fact; I have quite a way with words, and a very quick tail for that matter if you can catch what I mean by that.

Avoiding a fight is very much my own priority, don't worry.

As it is- you are correct. You should have seen his face when I snatched the Director position from under his nose, actually.

I believe he was ready to torch me~

Fortunately he has a brain. He can't do anything without bringing it back onto himself, so he'll play nice. That much, I can guarantee.

Aaaah but that is where you are in fact incorrect.

Light was the one who formed the second branch. I was chosen over AM to oversee it, therefore becoming his co-director and superior to AM himself.

We switched Branch roles when Light vanished; I filled in the role, and after sorting out the structure of things, gave AM his...'dream position' as it were.

Suffice to say I keep a close eye on him.

It's an easy thing to do. I find Light wasn't nearly so public about the actions of the labs...something which has no doubt contributed to the less than pleasant reputation we now have.

Honesty, however unfortunate some of the facts may be, tends to be better for trust than keeping ones lips shut.

At any rate, I'll see you there. With any luck, I'll be able to get them to focus on the likely issue, rather than whining about 'who dares strike the fog'. But you'll hear about that plenty in the meeting.

[Granted, he also wonders about 'who dares', but the meeting would be better used for preparing against any backlash yet to come.]
